I'll stamp all over 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
